[I want you to take this next formula And analyze the structure, then rewrite it in step by step form better]
So first you have a setup. Now the setup, you have to have topic.
So your topic is [Choose and insert a topic here] and then you have to have one of these four attitude words.
"[Your topic] is hard, weird, scary, or stupid."
[Then say " because..." and explain your take]
PREMISE
Then you have a Remember, always begin your premise with the word "because.
[Your topic] is [attitude word] because [ Insert related, paddionate, emotional explanation]
Remember, the Premise is your insightful reason why your topic you're joking about is hard, weird, scary, or stupid.
This concludes tge setup.
Then you go to the payoff.
The payoff is going to be an act out, or a turn, or an act out and a mix.
And then next, you have a tag.
The tag is a repeat of the attitude.
Examples:
"Yeah, boy, that's hard.
"That's scary."

Again
This Is The structure that works with a drinking comedy club audience!
So let's go through the details of each part of the stand-up structure.
1. Each joke has a setup, and the setup has:
A. a topic,
B. an attitude,
C. and a premise.
So the topic is:
Then pick one of these words:
HARD/WEIRD/SCARY/STUPID
Attitude words are used because, they work.
[Now you ranted and raved using these attitudes and should be getting good at portraying each of them.]
PREMISE
The premise is your insight, also often called your take, hit, or opinion on the topic.
The premise tells the audience why your topic is hard, weird, scary, or stupid.
The premise follows the word "because."
THE PAYOFFS
ACT OUT
Then you have your payoff, and the payoff is an act out.
So you begin acting out a character's mannerism, language, accents, cadence, and so on.
TURN
Now add a turn.
You know what a turn is because you did the list of three statements
MIXES
Mixes are:
"What if?"
"Imagine if..."
TAG
The tag comes at the end of the joke.
The tag is a simple repeat of the attitude while the audience is laughing at your mix.
Examples of the TAG:
"Yeah, wow, that's weird,"
or
"Uh-huh, that's scary. Yeah, scary people."
The tag is often:
1. a comment on the entire joke,
2. A comment on the audience's reaction,
3. A commenr on the audience's lack of reaction.
SEGUE
The segue is the transitional part to your next joke
